On a tragic Easter Sunday in Shreveport, Louisiana, a young life was cut short, leaving a community in mourning. Shakyra Gray, a 16-year-old female, was fatally shot on April 17, 2022. The incident unfolded in the afternoon at a residence on East Gregg Street. When first responders arrived, they found Gray suffering from a gunshot wound. She was quickly transported to a local hospital, but tragically, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
