On August 27, 2023, a triple shooting incident occurred along Plank Road near Brady Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Baton Rouge Police Department reported that the shooting happened around 2:30 a.m., and upon arrival, police found three individuals who had been shot.

Andre Ardoin, a 47-year-old native of Lafayette and resident of Baton Rouge, was one of the victims. He was taken to a hospital along with the two other victims but succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
