On January 12, 2024, 47-year-old Ronald McClure was found deceased on a walking trail beneath the Westbank Expressway in Gretna, Louisiana. McClure, a native of New Orleans and resident of Avondale, was discovered around 9:24 p.m., having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
