In the early morning hours of August 8, 2021, a life was tragically cut short in Sumter, South Carolina. Nigel Scott Alexander Batts, a 23-year-old male, was fatally shot outside a bar on Peach Orchard Road. Following the incident, he was rushed to Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
