On a Tuesday evening in Sumter, South Carolina, the life of Paul Shereshaw, a 42-year-old Caucasian man from Charlotte, North Carolina, was tragically cut short. On September 19, 2023, at approximately 10:45 p.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the night on Brand Street. A deputy from the Sumter County Sheriff's Office, who was in the vicinity, discovered Shereshaw lying in the road with gunshot wounds.
