On April 8, 2023, 26-year-old Rayquan Kentrell Dean was fatally shot outside Brewer's Bar and Grill on East Wesmark Boulevard in Sumter, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m., when officers responded to reports of a shooting and found Dean deceased at the scene.
