Christopher Thompson, a 19-year-old resident of Sumter, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on September 18, 2019. The incident occurred in the Cherryvale community near Shaw Air Force Base. Thompson and Michael Sigler, Jr., 22, were walking down a road when a vehicle approached them, and someone inside the car opened fire. Both men were transported to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
