In the late summer of 2016, a tragic series of events unfolded in East Tulsa, Oklahoma, culminating in the death of 17-year-old Marquis Mi'Tayo Mullins. A Black male and a student at East Central High School, his life was cut short on August 23rd as a result of a violent encounter between two groups.
