In Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 6, 2020, a dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion, claiming the life of 44-year-old Tully Jay Clark. That day, police responded to a shooting incident near East Pine Street and North Sheridan Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. One of them was Tully Clark, who was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The second victim was reported to be in critical condition.
Investigators determined that the shooting stemmed from an altercation. The conflict was reportedly over stolen marijuana plants. Through their investigation, which was aided by neighborhood video surveillance, witness testimony, and information from the surviving victim, police identified a suspect.
Two days after the shooting, on October 8, 2020, authorities located and arrested Michael Marshall in Hominy, Oklahoma, in connection with Tully Clark's death. Marshall, who was 26 years old at the time, was charged with first-degree murder, shooting with intent to kill, possession of a firearm, and discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling. A police K-9 unit also recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the incident. Marshall was subsequently held at the Tulsa County Jail on a $1 million bond.
