On a summer evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the discovery of a man's body in a grassy field marked the beginning of a long-unsolved case. On June 6, 1982, at approximately 10:50 p.m., Richard K. White was found deceased, lying on a mattress behind what was then a Safeway Grocery Store at 400 W. 12th Street.
