On March 3, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at a gas station on Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Abby Burt. The Baton Rouge Police Department responded to the scene around 5:45 p.m. after a woman's body was discovered outside the Fast Lane gas station, near the intersection of Florida Boulevard and Flannery Road or Marque Ann Drive.
