On May 26, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of 27-year-old Leonel Valey-Morales. The incident took place at approximately 3:03 AM in the 300 block of Riverlon Avenue. Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) received several calls reporting multiple shots fired in the area.
