On June 23, 2024, Kendrick Green, a 30-year-old resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, was fatally shot following an argument that escalated into violence. The incident occurred around 7:29 p.m. in the 400 block of Justin Street. Officers from the Lafayette Police Department arrived at the scene and administered life-saving measures until paramedics took over.
