Kerrington Sam, a 22-year-old Black man from Lafayette, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on November 30, 2022. The incident occurred at the Greystone Apartments on Reserve Drive in Lafayette, where Kerrington was fatally shot around noon. The Lafayette Police Department responded to the scene and identified Kerrington as the victim. The investigation revealed that Kerrington had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
