On October 5, 2024, Stanley Dewayne Williams, a 42-year-old African American man, was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. in the 2300 block of Louisa Street. According to the New Orleans Police Department Williams and another man were seated in a vehicle when an unknown individual approached them.
