In the fall of 2017, the life of 19-year-old Adam Joshua Tanner was tragically cut short by gun violence in New Orleans. On the evening of Tuesday, October 17, 2017, a series of shootings broke out across the city, leaving one dead and two others injured. Tanner was the fatal victim in an incident that unfolded in the 7th Ward.
