Ricardo Hollins, a 40-year-old male known in the New Orleans rap community as Double Crossa, was fatally shot on November 30, 2016. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a clothing store near Canal Street in the Mid-City area of New Orleans. Hollins was struck by multiple gunshots and was pronounced dead at University Hospital. His death was one of four separate shootings that took place within a two-hour span in the city on that day.
