Death by Force

Antonio Joseph Rainey, 45, a New Orleanian also known as “YoYo,” died on May 19, 2025. In the early morning hours, New Orleans police responded to a shooting in Gentilly Terrace, in the 2600 block of Myrtle Street, where officers found an adult male unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound; emergency medics pronounced him dead at the scene. The Orleans Parish Coroner later identified the victim as Antonio Joseph Rainey, confirming his age and date of death.
