In Louisville, Kentucky, a 25-year-old Black male named Eric Steven King Jr. tragically lost his life on March 25, 2023. On that Saturday evening, just before 5 p.m., police responded to a shooting on North 38th Street in the Shawnee neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered that King and his fiancée, Haley Meadors, had both been shot.
