In the quiet community of Valley Station in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of Gordon McCallum Ritchie, a 78-year-old White male, came to a tragic and violent end on the night of July 21, 2024. That evening, Louisville Metro Police officers were dispatched to a home situated on the 15000 block of Dixie Highway in response to a trouble call. Upon their arrival at approximately 9:15 p.m., they discovered Mr. Ritchie deceased inside the residence from a fatal gunshot wound.
