In the autumn of 2023, a shooting in Louisville, Kentucky, claimed the life of 17-year-old Nagin Clifford Means. The incident occurred on the afternoon of October 10th in the Taylor Berry neighborhood.
Reports indicate that Means was shot in the 1400 block of Thornberry Avenue, near Taylor Boulevard. Following the shooting, he was transported to UofL Hospital.
Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 5:35 p.m., approximately half an hour after the shooting took place.
The Louisville Metro Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case. At the time of the initial reports, authorities had not publicly identified any suspects in connection with the fatal shooting. Law enforcement has appealed to the public for any information that might lead to an arrest, encouraging witnesses or those with knowledge of the incident to come forward. The investigation remains ongoing as they seek to bring resolution to the case.
