George Brown, 51, was shot and killed on December 17, 2016, in front of his home on Olive Street in Louisville, Kentucky. The tragic incident unfolded as his 5-year-old son witnessed his father being fatally shot. It took nearly two years for authorities to arrest two suspects, Isaiah Jenkins and Derrick Taylor. Jenkins eventually took a plea deal and was sentenced to five years in prison. Taylor remains charged in connection with the murder, with legal proceedings ongoing at the time.
