In the California neighborhood of Louisville, a tragic story unfolded on a Monday night in September of 2017. Chizvest Summers Jr., a 24-year-old male, was fatally wounded in a shooting on Prentice Street. Emergency responders rushed to the 1600 block of the street around 9:20 p.m. following reports of a man being shot. Summers was quickly transported to the hospital for medical intervention.
