Garfield Webb Jr., 26, was shot multiple times on July 29, 2015, in the 700 block of East Camp Street in Louisville's Shelby Park neighborhood. The shooting was part of a robbery, and police later arrested 16-year-old Kyree Yancey in connection with the crime. Yancey fled to Texas following the incident but was apprehended in Amarillo a few months later. He was charged with murder, robbery, and possession of a handgun as a minor. The case highlighted issues of youth violence in Louisville.
