In the early evening of a summer day in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 11-year-old Jakari Avonte Griffin was tragically cut short. On Monday, June 27, 2022, emergency responders were called to a home in the 4700 block of East Pages Lane near Valley Station, where they found young Jakari with a gunshot wound.
