In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 60-year-old Terrance Sheckles, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On July 21, 2020, at approximately 2 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on Garland Avenue in the California neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered Sheckles had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
