On a Tuesday evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 33-year-old Richard W. Seymour was cut short by gunfire. The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. on August 4, 2020, near the intersection of South 26th Street and Greenwood Avenue in the Parkland neighborhood. When police arrived at the scene, they found Seymour, a male, with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
