In the Russell neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 25-year-old Shironda Ashley Harrison Adams, a Black female, was tragically cut short on the night of March 26, 2023. Around 11:15 p.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting on West Madison Street where they found Ms. Harrison and a man with gunshot wounds. Shironda was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male victim was transported to a local hospital.
