In the autumn of 2019, the life of 53-year-old Nickolas Randall Saling, a man whose existence was deeply intertwined with the sea, took a tragic turn. On October 20th, the experienced sailor embarked on a solo trip from Bellingham, Washington, to Cypress Island.
