In the early hours of a Saturday morning in the Old Louisville neighborhood, tragedy struck, leaving a community in mourning. Jamal Marquette Malone, a 28-year-old Black male, was killed in a shooting on April 15, 2023. The incident, which unfolded in the 200 block of East Burnett, also left two other individuals with gunshot wounds.
