On January 30, 2023, Andrew Edward Valdez, a 35-year-old resident of Jeffersonville, Indiana, was fatally shot in the Crescent Hill neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky. The incident occurred in the 100 block of North Birchwood Avenue around 5:30 p.m..
