In the California neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, a 52-year-old Black/African American man named Robert William Crosson Jr. was spending a quiet evening with his uncle on May 29, 2024. He was relaxing and watching old Michael Jordan basketball highlights on television inside his uncle's home on Grand Avenue. The ordinary evening was shattered by the sound of two gunshots.
Those bullets, believed to be strays, penetrated the front door of the residence and tragically struck Crosson.
