A 27 year old father of 5 is shot to death while walking home from work
In the late evening of April 30, 2013, a 26-year-old Black male named Jarvis B. Carson was walking home from his job in Louisville, Kentucky. As he made his way down Oak Street, between Sixth and Seventh streets, the night was shattered by the sound of multiple gunshots. Witnesses reported hearing as many as a dozen shots fired in quick succession, possibly from more than one weapon. Shortly after the gunfire, a motorcycle and a car were seen leaving the area.
