In the winter of 2006, the life of Eric D. Ashby, a 34-year-old Black male from Louisville, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Sunday, December 17, 2006, Ashby was found in a rear alley at 1702 Hill Street. He had been murdered, leaving behind a grieving family and a community searching for answers.
