On June 18, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred at an apartment complex in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Derrick Minott, Jr. The incident happened around 8 p.m. at the apartment complex located off Old Six Mile Lane and Palmetto Circle.
