On the evening of October 5, 2023, a domestic disturbance call led Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies to the Mount Hood Village RV Resort in Welches, Oregon. There, they discovered the body of 46-year-old Matthew Reid Mullin, a White / Caucasian male, outside a trailer. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
