Casimir Strawinski, a 58-year-old man, was found dead in his hotel room on January 9, 1975. His death was part of a series of murders attributed to Vaughn Orrin Greenwood, infamously known as the "Skid Row Slasher". Greenwood was a serial killer who targeted transient individuals, often leaving behind ritualistic elements at the crime scenes, such as salt sprinkled around the bodies and cups of blood placed nearby.
