On the evening of February 5, 2024, a burst of violence shattered the ordinary atmosphere of a bar in the St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland, Oregon, leaving 56-year-old Charles Hassel, a White/Caucasian male, dead. The incident occurred at approximately 9:39 p.m. inside a tavern located on North Lombard Street.
