On the evening of Friday, March 1, 2024, in the Kenton neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, a shooting incident claimed the life of 43-year-old Eric D. Toner II. North Precinct officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 3000 block of North Terry Street at 7:47 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered evidence of gunfire within the house.
