In the late hours of a Springfield, Massachusetts day, a life was tragically cut short. JaTon G. Pearson, a 29-year-old Black/African American man, was killed by gun violence on June 11, 2023. A lifelong resident of Springfield, he was known affectionately as "Pooh" or "Hood Boss" to his friends and family.
