On January 29, 2023, a tragic incident unfolded in Jonesboro, Indiana, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Benito D. Lugo, a Hispanic male from Hidalgo, Texas. Authorities responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:15 a.m. regarding a gunshot victim at a residence located at 7220 South 200 West.
