Tyrane Del Ray McCoy, a 30-year-old Black male, was killed in a west-side Indianapolis shooting on April 4, 2026. What began as a series of urgent 911 calls about gunfire quickly turned into a homicide investigation. Dispatchers were first told about shots fired near the 800 block of South Lynhurst Drive and the 800 block of Manhattan Avenue, an area just north of West Washington Street.
