On February 27, 2023, 29-year-old Timothy Leroy Coats of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was fatally shot in the head during a social gathering at a residence on Ledgestone Place, west of Fort Wayne. The incident occurred while attendees were drinking, smoking, and playing cards in the garage.
