On August 26, 2024, at approximately 6:10 a.m., the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of a male being shot in a yard in the 4400 block of Winter Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Upon arrival, officers found 20-year-old Damarion Tywan Lundy, who appeared to be shot and in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medics, Lundy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
