In the early morning hours of March 25, 2023, the life of 20-year-old Tyquan Page of Elkhart, Indiana, was cut short by gunfire. The fatal incident occurred at the River Run Apartments, located in the 700 block of Monroe Street. Emergency dispatch received a call about a shooting with injuries at approximately 2:34 a.m. and sent Elkhart Police Department officers to the scene.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive Tyquan Page inside one of the apartment buildings,
suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Police immediately began to render first aid until medics could take over. Despite their efforts, Page was pronounced dead at the scene.
In accordance with protocol, the Elkhart County Homicide Unit was activated to lead the investigation into the young man's death. To date, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing, and law enforcement has appealed to the public for any information that might lead to a breakthrough in the case.
