In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragedy struck in the parking lot of the West Wind Apartments. On April 11, 2023, at approximately 2:23 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at 2107 Point West Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was 19-year-old Tyreece Corion Vachon, a Black male. He and a female companion were rushed to a local hospital.
