Markes Day, a 19-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, was found dead in an alley on the near east side of the city on April 28, 2023. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) received a report of an unresponsive person in the 2000 block of East Brookside Avenue around 8:15 a.m..
