On June 7, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred at the Reserves at Warren Park apartment complex on the east side of Indianapolis. The victim, identified by the Marion County Coroner as 24-year-old Tytrail Dentaie Watkins, was found dead in a hallway of the apartment complex.
