On August 8, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in South Bend, Indiana, resulting in the death of 1-year-old Kylin Brooks. Kylin was shot and killed by his 2-year-old cousin, who accidentally discharged a loaded and unsecured gun. The incident happened at a residence on Amhurst Avenue near the Erskine Golf Course.
