In the summer of 2015, the South Bend, Indiana community was confronted with a story that was as perplexing as it was tragic. Curtis William Trent II, a 45-year-old man known publicly for his work as a youth advocate and his efforts to quell youth violence, died on Tuesday, July 28, 2015.
